A New Chapter for the Vaclav Havel Center
As we begin this new year, we are excited to introduce Jana Krupkova as the new Executive Director of the Vaclav Havel Center (VHC).
“I’m truly honored to step into this role, and I look forward to exploring new possibilities for our programming and partnerships. Most importantly, I look forward to connecting with you in person as we share what’s ahead. I hope you’ll join me at one (or both) of our upcoming meet-and-greet gatherings to start this exciting chapter together.”
Tuesday, February 18, at 10-11am for coffee
Thursday, February 20, at 6-7pm for a glass of wine
If you’d like to join, feel free to email me at jana@havelcenter.org with your preferred date.
“The Board and I are so pleased that Jana has agreed to step into the role of Executive Director. After a leadership transition, the Vaclav Havel Center is expanding its outreach and programs on issues that Havel — that hero of free expression, human rights, and democracy — might have tackled if he were alive today. Having grown up in the Czech Republic, Jana is steeped in the history of Havel’s times and has been working in the New York-area arts community for years. We are excited to have her energy and insight on our side.”
